Closerie Saint Antoine

Name: Closerie Saint Antoine
Variety: Champ de Carra Viognier
Region: Languedoc, France
Country: France
Year: 2015
Price: $6.95

Wine Critic Review: "Light yellow color with green reflection. At first, this Viognier exhibits some citrus and pine aromas, after some time in the glass, it develops peach and mango. In the mouth, it is quite lovely with a great fruit forward approach. It is intense and balanced at the same time. The finish is long and offers an array of flavors, such as ripe peach and pear  with creamy, lemony nuances."

My Review: I enjoyed this wine. I felt I could taste the same things I smelled, which isn't always the case when I taste wines. It smelled a bit like the forest, but also like a mango tree, and I tasted some of the mango. I did not taste the alcohol as strongly in this as I have some others. I did not have this wine with food.
