Clean Slate Riesling

Name: Clean Slate
Variety: Riesling
Region: Mosel
Country: Germany
Price: $9.95

Wine Critic Review: "The balanced taste profile of Clean Slate is created by carefully selecting grapes from vineyards throughout the Mosel. Grapes from the Lower Mosel provide mineral notes, while grapes from the Middle Mosel create a hint of spiciness and grapes from the Upper Mosel supply fresh, peach flavors. The result is clean, fresh flavor that is delicious with food and perfect to share with friends."

My Review: This Riesling was what I've come to expect from Rieslings. It was very fresh, fitting for the name Clean Slate. It tasted a little like I imagine wet rocks might taste like if I ever felt inclined to sample that. I very much liked the label design, and even though it was a bit acidic, I still enjoyed it. I did not have this wine with food.
